Steps
1
Align the guide ridges of the hard drive carrier with the grooves on the hard drive bay.
2
Insert and push the hard drive into the hard drive bay until it clicks into place.

NOTE:
For information on cabling the hard drives, see the System Information Label on the system cover.
NOTE:
Ensure that SATA cables with a right angle connector are used to connect the hard drives in the hard drive bay.

Removing a hard drive from a hard drive carrier

Disconnect the power and data cables from the hard drive(s).
4
Remove the hard drive from the hard drive cage or hard drive bay.
Steps
To release the hard drive, flex the sides of the hard drive carrier and push the hard drive out of the carrier.
