If a fault cannot be resolved, please contact your supplier or system integrator, or go directly
to your Bosch representative.

Problem
The software upgrade fails
The redundant WAP does not
work.
I cannot log in to the
secondary WAP when the
system switches to redundant
mode.

Possible cause
The batteries in the Wireless
Devices are insufficiently
charged.
The WAP is switched off.
The Wireless Devices are
switched off or not
subscribed to the WAP.
The Wireless Devices are not
within range of the WAP.
The wireless network is
overloaded.
The primary WAP and
secondary WAP are
incorrectly positioned.
The web browser cache
contains information from the
primary WAP.

Possible solution
Check the battery charge on
the Battery and signal page,
and charge the batteries
accordingly.
Make sure the WAP is
switched on.
Make sure the Wireless
Devices are switched on and
subscribed to the WAP.
Use the range test on the
Battery and signal page to
determine if the Wireless
Devices are within range of
the WAP.
Connect the WAP(s) to a
laptop or PC with a DCN
multimedia System Network
Cable or a standard network
cable.
Note: If a redundant WAP is
configured, an Ethernet
network switch is required to
connect the two WAPs to the
laptop or PC.
Make sure there is a minimum
distance of one meter and a
maximum distance of three
meters between the two
WAPs.
Delete the web browser
cache.
