UPDATING FIRMWARE
1.
Advance preparation
1-1.
Equipment
· RSio64-D main unit
· Ethernet (CAT5e) straight cable: 1
· Windows Vista, 7 PC with Ethernet port: 1
1-2.
Network setting
Use the same network settings as for the Test Program.
(See page 43)
1-3.
Application
Download RSio64-D Test Program Data Package from
YSISS website and copy it right under the C drive.
Update can be performed with the following
application.
・ For BOOT :
¥tools¥Updater¥boot¥RSio64-D_UpdaterVx.exe
・ For PROG :
¥tools¥Updater¥prog¥RSio64-D_UpdaterVx.exe
Update can be performed with the following
firmware.
・For BOOT : ¥Firmware ¥ RSIO_L_Vxxx.BIN
・For PROG : ¥Firmware ¥ RSIO_P_Vxxx.BIN
When a version is different, please update to the
newest.

Connection method
Connect LAN connector of PC and Primary Port of
RSio64-D with Ethernet (CAT5e) straight cable.
* Only the above is connected and nothing
connects with the other terminal.

Procedure of Firmwares Update
2-1.
Settings and starting of DIP switch
1） DIP switch is set as Update mode.

2) Power switch of RSio64-D is turned on.
3) It checks having started in update mode because all
red LEDs and SYSTEM, SYNC LEDs lighting.
The LED circumference circuit has broken when
all red LEDs and SYSTEM, SYNC LEDs do not
lighting.
2-2.
Start-up of update software
The executing application for BOOT is different from
that for PROG.
Start the application program for updating.
Starting of "update.exe" will display the following
display.
