Description
Volume button (included with the Plastics Kit)
IMPORTANT:
Before removing the volume button, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:
a.
Keyboard (select products only) (see

Micro SIM card tray (see
c.
MicroSD card tray (see
d.
Rear cover (see
e.
Disconnect the battery (see
f.
Kickstand (see
g.
SSD (see
h.
Display panel (see
i.
Battery (see
j.
System board (see
k.
Smart card reader board (see
Remove the volume button:
Push the button in to remove it from the frame.
