Cooking Stewed Dishes
Keep Warm for Soup and Stew
When cooking is finished, the rice cooker
automatically keeps the food warm. The elapsed
time will be displayed in 1-hour units, up to 6 hours.
If 6 hours is exceeded, a flashing 6 will be displayed.

Depending on the food, keeping it warm may affect
the taste, so please be careful.
In harsh surroundings (very cold or very hot areas),
consume the finished product as soon as possible.
Heating up foods that are being kept warm
While the Keep Warm lamp is lit up, press Hour and

Min to extend the heating time. → See P.34 Step
(After heating is completed, the Keep Warm lamp
will light up and the remaining warming time will be
displayed.)
Caution
If the food is still not cooked, do not press the
Cancel
key to add more cooking time. The Keep
warm lamp turns off and the food cannot be
cooked further. If pressed by accident, the food
can be further cooked as follows:
(1) Remove the inner pan and set it on a wet
kitchen towel.
(2) Leave the rice cooker lid open for about 10
minutes and cool the rice cooker and the
inner pan.
(3) Set the inner pan back in the rice cooker.

Caution
When preparing recipes other than those included in
the supplemental COOK BOOK, the rice cooker may
boil over, so please take care.
