Safety Instructions

Read all warnings and instructions before using the rice cooker.
* The precautions described below are intended to protect the user and other individuals from
physical harm and to safeguard against damage to property.
Be sure to follow the instructions since they are important safeguards.
* Do not remove the safety instructions seal attached to the unit.
Safety instructions are classified and described
as shown below, according to the level of harm
and damage caused by improper use of ignoring
instructions.

*2: "Injury" is defined here as a physical injury, a scald or an electric shock
which will not require hospital treatment or long-term outpatient care.
*3: "Damage to property" is defined here as damage extending to
buildings, household effects, domestic animals, pets, etc.
Be particularly careful when handling the inner pan.
Use only the inner pan (Clay Ceramic)
made exclusively for this rice cooker.
Using any other pans may result in
overheating or malfunctions.

shocks, such as dropping it or hitting
it against hard objects.
Doing so may cause injuries or damage.

electromagnetic cooker. Do not heat it in a microwave
oven.

CAUTION
•Do not cook with an empty inner pan. Do not cool the pan
quickly.
•Use the Keep Warm function for white rice only; do not use
it for other rice types, such as Mixed Rice or Bean Rice.
•Do not use vinegar in the inner pan.
•Use only the supplied spatula or wooden spatulas.
•Do not use hard utensils, such as metal ladles, spoons or
whisks.
•Do not place colanders or strainers inside the inner pan.
•Do not place tableware or other hard utensils in the inner
pan to wash them.
•Do not use hard materials such as metal or nylon
scrubbers to clean the inner pan.
•Do not use a dishwasher/dryer.
●If the inner pan is damaged, scratched or
cracked, please contact the store where you
purchased the rice cooker.
●The fluorine treatment of the inner pan may
become worn with use, leading to peeling, but
this is not harmful to the human body, and
does not affect the cooking or heat retention
per formance. If you are worried about it, or
if there is deformation or corrosion, you can
purchase a new one. Please contact the store
where you purchased the rice cooker.
