Ensure the following are available before
beginning preparations
LAN cables
Provide LAN cables based on the number of PCs and distance.
Hub
Up to four PCs can be directly connected to the LAN1 ports of the product. If you want
to connect five or more PCs, use a hub (for example, a switching hub) that supports
10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, or 1000BASE-T.
Information regarding the network to which the product
is connected
Predetermine the IP address to be assigned to the LAN side of the product.
NOTE
To connect the product to a network that uses a DHCP server, you need to disable the
DHCP server function of the product. To do this, refer to page 92.

Cautions when installing the product

Please carefully read and observe the "Safety precautions" of the User's Manual when
installing the product.
