Performance Loss at Normal RPM

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Boat overloaded or load improperly distributed.
Excessive water in bilge.
Boat bottom is dirty or damaged.
Performance Loss at Wide‑Open Throttle
POSSIBLE CAUSES OF LOW RPM (USUALLY ENGINE RELATED)
Throttle is not fully open.
Exhaust system is blocked.
Ignition system has a problem.
Spark plug is fouled or an injector failed.
Air compressor inlet is blocked.
POSSIBLE CAUSES OF HIGH RPM (USUALLY PUMP RELATED)
Impeller is damaged.
Impeller or wear ring is worn.
Impeller, inlet, or stator is fouled.
Ride plate seal has a leak.

Battery Will Not Hold Charge

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Battery connections are loose or corroded.
Low electrolyte level in battery.
Worn out or inefficient battery.
