Place
control
handle
in
vertical position
with
knob
downward.
Turn
key counter-clockwise.
OPENING THE TAILGATE
Lower
the
window
aU
the
way
before
opening the
tailgate.
With
the
window
fully
opened,
reach
inside
the station
wagon
and
pull
the
tail-
gate
release
handle
sideWise
to
unlock
the
tailgate.
Pull the
tailgate
down
all
the
way.
CLOSING .THE TAILGATE
Lower
the
window
before
closing
the
tailgate.
Do
not
close
the
tailgate
with
the
window even partially raised.
Lift
up
the
tailgate
and
push
forward
until the ,gate
is
latched
and
the
glass
is
aligned
wlth
\
its
guides.
POWER
