17 . Clean laser window using optical tissues and optical cleaning
fluid provided. For more information, please see maintenance
instructions on how to clean the laser window .
18 . Make sure the build module is locked in place using the locking
pins .
19 . Close the door and fasten the door bolts to 30Nm torque setting .
20 . Click on
Prepare for Job Start.
21. A checklist will appear, fill in everything appropriately to ensure the
machine is prepared in a proper way .
22 . Press continue on the Machine preparation checklist . The
machine will start removing the air from the process chamber .
23 . When the pressure drops below -800mbar it is recommended
to recheck the 30Nm torque on the door bolts and tighten
additionally when needed .
24 . The process chamber will go trough 3 interting cycles .An inerting
cycle consists out of vacating the air out of the process chamber
and filling it with argon. This is performed 3 times to achieve
oxygen levels of only 100 ppm . When the three inerting cycles are
finished, the ProX DMP 320 is ready for building.
25 . During the removal of oxygen, the powder in the feeds will have
become unflat. Use manual operation to move the powder surface
of the feeds to just above the module top . Make sure you do not
move the build platform. Use the recoater to make a flat equal
powder bed . (5)
