If the fuseholder is damaged, you can replace it completely
with battery cables.
1. Remove both battery boxes (see Removing battery boxes, page
30).
2. Remove covers on both battery boxes (see Removing batteries,
page 31).

The fuseholder (1) is located on top of the batteries.
4.
Pry open snap hook B with slotted screwdriver C.
Fuseholder cover A is open.
Older fuseholder versions may be locked with a cable
tie. If so, cut open cable tie to access fuse strip.
5. If the strip fuse has blown, first ascertain and rectify the cause
of the fault.
6. The main fuse may only be replaced once the fault has been
rectified.
7.
Undo strip fuse nuts (2) with socket spanner.
8. Replace strip fuse.
9. Install parts in reverse order.
Make sure to press two parts of fuse holder cover
together until it snaps.
If older fuseholder version is used, lock fuse holder with
UL94V0 cable tie.
10. Test all functions.
Cables
The following images show checking the cable using the Shark
controller as an example. The plug positions are different for both the
DX2 and VR2 controllers. The procedure for checking is otherwise
identical.
For plug position see corresponding controls manual or earlier
revision of this manual.

1. Remove legrests.
2.
Release seat A and tilt forwards.
3. Check all cables for visible damage and crushing. Replace
damaged cables.
4.
Pull each plug A carefully.
5. Plug should not come out of socket.
6. If plug is loose, press plug into socket with slight pressure.
7. The plug must engage.
8. Check whether plug is now firmly located in socket, otherwise
repeat previous step.
9. Remove both battery boxes (see "Removing battery cases", page
30).
10. Remove covers on both battery boxes (see Removing batteries,
page 31).
11.
Check all battery cables for visible damage and crushing. Replace
damaged cables.
12. Install parts in reverse order.
13. Test all functions.

5.10 Lighting unit

5.10.1 Replacing headlight (LED light)

Replacing an individual LED is not possible. If there is a
defect, replace the entire front headlight.
