The adjacent figure shows an overview of the individual parts:
Plastic cap, 19 mm nut, ball bearing.
10. Install parts in reverse order.
11. Ensure that you insert the ball bearings exactly as described
below.
12. Also ensure that washers are correctly replaced. The illustrations
show the wide border of the ball bearing on the outside of the
ball race (A) and the narrow ball bearing edge on the inside (B).
CAUTION!
Incorrect reassembly can damage the
bearings and cause the casters to fall out
The single-row angular ball bearing rings are not
identical on both sides. There is only one correct
way to insert them.
– The bearings must always be assembled so that
the narrow borders of the ball bearings are facing
each other (inside).
– The steering head bolts and nuts must always be
pressing against the wide (outside) border of the
ball bearings! Otherwise, the bearings will be
pressed apart and damaged by the bolts.
13. After assembly, steering wheels should rotate freely but bearings
should have no play.
14. First tighten nuts to 20 Nm +/- 2 Nm.
15. Then loosen them slightly.
16. Then retighten to 15 Nm +/- 1.5 Nm.

Tools:
6 mm Allen key
13 mm wrench
Repair kit for tire repair or a new inner tube
Talcum powder
1528338-P
Install parts in reverse order. Always make sure that the
wheel is replaced on the same side and in the same direction
as it was removed.
Removing caster
1.
Raise mobility device and place wooden blocks under it to
support it.
Remove screw A using the Allen key on one side and the wrench

on the other side (for countering).
3.
Remove caster from fork.
Repairing a flat tire
1.
Remove valve cap.
2.
Depressurize tire by pressing in pin in valve.
Remove 3 Allen screws A.

Remove tire with inner tube from caster rim halves.
5.
Repair inner tube and re-fit it, or insert new.
If old inner tube has been repaired and is to be used again,
and became wet during repair, it is easier to replace it if it is
lightly dusted with talcum powder beforehand.
6.
Insert wheel rim halves from outside into tire.
7.
Pump up tire a little.
8.
Insert Allen screws once again, and screw caster rims together
tightly. Avoid crushing inner tube.
9.
Ensure that tire outer is seated correctly.
10. Pump tire up to prescribed pressure.
11. Check that tire is seated correctly.
12. Screw valve cap back on.
13. Refit caster.
