Enter the desired temperature by pushing the arrow buttons and confirm the setting by pushing
the OK button.
SETTING THE METHOD OF TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The thermostat can control the temperature in four alternate methods. The desired method is entered in
the
menu.
ROOM THERMOSTAT (A)
The temperature is controlled according to the room temperature.
Choose the setting value A by pushing the arrow buttons and confirm the setting by pushing the
OK button.
FLOOR THERMOSTAT (F)
The temperature is controlled according to the floor temperature. The method is available only if the floor
sensor is connected to the thermostat.
Choose the setting value F by pushing the arrow buttons and confirm the setting by pushing the
OK button.
COMBINATION THERMOSTAT (AF) DEFAULT
The temperature is controlled according to the room temperature. Additionally the floor maximum and
minimum temperatures should be defined. The method is available only if the floor sensor is connected
to the thermostat.
Choose the setting value AF by pushing the arrow buttons and confirm the setting by pushing the
OK button.
Enter the minimum floor temperature by pushing the arrow buttons and confirm the setting by
pushing the OK button.
Enter the maximum floor temperature by pushing the arrow buttons and confirm the setting by
pushing the OK button.
POWER CONTROL THERMOSTAT (P)
The power is controlled according to the time the heating is on during a 30 minute-period. The options
are from 0 to 10 and the chosen value determines the heating time in per cent during a 30 minute-period.
The choice 4 means that the heating is on 40% i.e the heating is alternately on 12 minutes and off 18
minutes. Additionally the maximum floor temperature should be defined if the floor sensor is connected
to the thermostat.
Choose the setting value P by pushing the arrow buttons and confirm the setting by pushing the
OK button.
If the floor sensor is connected to the thermostat enter the maximum floor temperature by pushing
the arrow buttons and confirm the setting by pushing the OK button.
INSTALLATION
Place the sensor cable in a protective tube between heating cables (floor heating solutions).
Connect the earth wires (PE) to the separate connector.
Connect the thermostat according to the figure on the page 55. The control of temperature change
is connected to the ∆T marked connector. Any phase can be used to control the temperature change.
The thermostat has a screw terminal and the leads should be stripped at the length of 7 mm.
A residual circuit breaker has to be used according to the local installation regulations.
Mount the thermostat into the mounting box with screws.
Mount the thermostat lid and cover plate (figure on page 54). Cover the thermostat from potential
dust during construction.
