2.3.2 System information
This rotary switch setting serves exclusively for displaying values
such as the current system temperatures, operational conditions,
consumption values and software information.
No settings can be made to these values.

2.3.3 Operating modes Standby, Reducing, heating,
cooling, Summer, Automatic 1, Automatic 2
In this rotary switch position we stipulate the operating mode that
the HPSU compact should operate in.
If a one-off timer programme is started during the
selected operating mode, the regulation will take place
with preference according to the settings of this timer
programme.
Place the rotary switch in the "Operating Mode"
position.
An overview is displayed.
Select the desired operating mode with the rotary switch.
Confirm the changes with a brief push of the rotary switch.
HPSU compact operates in accordance with the set oper-
ating mode.
Standby (Stand-by)
CAUTION!
A heating system that is not frost-protected can freeze
in cold weather and be damaged.
Drain the water out of the heating system if there is
a danger of frost.
If the heating system is not drained, the power
supply must be ensured and the main switch must
remain switched on.
In this mode, the HPSU compact is placed in stand-by mode. This
should only take place if the HPSU compact is not working at the
time. The frost-protection function remains in place. Below the
parameter value [T-Frost Protect] the integrated circulation pump
is switched on in order to prevent the heating system from freez-
ing.
In order to maintain this function, the system must not be discon-
nected from the mains!
Reducing
Reduced heating mode (lower set room temperature) in
accordance with the setback temperature set in the parameter
[T-Reduced] (see section 2.3.5).
heating, cooling
Heating or cooling in accordance with the temperature set in the
parameter [T-Room des 1] (see section 2.3.4).
An outdoor temperature sensor (weather-controlled regulation)
or a connected room station will also influence the set temper-
ature regulation.

Summer
Hot water mode in accordance with the temperature set in
parameter [T-DHW 1 des] (see section 2.3.6) or, if set, a
permanent hot water timer programme:

tures for the room heating or cooling.
Place the rotary switch in the "Set Temp Day"
Select the temperature block to be set with the rotary switch.
Set the temperature.
Confirm the change with a brief push of the rotary switch.

2.3.5 Temperature setting Setback mode
In this rotary switch setting we determine the setback mode
temperatures for the room heating or cooling.
Place the rotary switch in the "Set Temp Night"
Select the parameter to be set with the rotary switch.
– [T-Reduced]: Set value for operating mode [Reducing] or
– [T-Absence]: Set value for a one-off timer programme.
Set the temperature.
Confirm the change with a brief push of the rotary switch.
