Possible cause
Possible solution
Check that all stop valves of the water circuit are
completely open.
Check that the expansion tank is defective.
Bleed system completely.
On the controller (rotary switch setting "Info"
check whether there is adequate water pressure
(> 0.3 bar).
Check that the resistance in the water circuit is not too
high for the pump (see installation manual for
"Technical Data").
Check the operating mode setting.
Check the request parameters.
Check the setting of time a weekday in the control
system.
Wait until minimum water temperature is reached
(15 °C). At a low water temperature the system may
use the optional backup heater (BUH) first to reach the
minimum water temperature.
Have the system checked by a ROTEX heating
technician.
Switch the operating mode to "cooling".
Check that all stop valves of the water circuit are
completely open.
Check that the water filter is dirty.
Check that the expansion tank is defective.
Bleed system completely.
On the controller (rotary switch setting "Info"
check whether there is adequate water pressure
(> 0.3 bar).
Check that the resistance in the water circuit is not too
high for the pump (see installation manual for
"Technical Data").
Check water volume and associated primary pressure
in expansion container, top-up water level if necessary
and reconfigure primary pressure (see installation
manual for "Minimum Flow").
Have coolant level checked by a ROTEX technician.
Have him check the system for leaks.
Bleed the entire water circuit.
Check the HPSU compact, its components and covers
to ensure they are fastened correctly.
Reduce speed of pump, replace circulation pump.
On the controller (rotary switch setting "Info"
check whether there is adequate water pressure
(> 0.3 bar).
Check that the pressure gauge is working correctly
(connect an external pressure gauge).
Check that the expansion tank is not defective and that
the primary pressure has been set correctly (see
installation manual).
