Turn the backrest up ( in the first part keeping the string "A"
pulled up) until an audible "click" indicates that the pin "P" is
engaged in the hole of the plate "S" (figure 31).

Never try to open the backrest and thus never force
the system, is the lock pin "P" is not released by
means of the string "A". Should this warning be
neglected, the system may suffer damages Rehateam
s.r.l. can not be responsible for.
Before using the wheelchair always ensure that the
back support is correctly in place (see chapter 2.8
"Backrest locking system").

Lifting the wheelchair

The wheelchair can be lifted and transported in many
different ways. However it is advisable to fold the
wheelchair down to facilitate these actions.
In order to reduce weight, remove the rear wheels (see
chapter 5.5 "Quick release rear wheels") and close the
backrest (see chapter 5.2 "Closing the backrest). In order
to have greater balance while lifting the wheelchair, take
hold of it on the front frame and on the backrest (see figure
32) and then lift the wheelchair
