If SMDI Integration is to be used ensure that the COM port selected for SMDI

Integration does not conflict with the COM port set for remote/local access (default
port 2). For installation/configuration instructions refer to the Stratagy I & M
Manual -
Chapters 1 – Before You Install
The DK40 CPU software level R1 will not support SMDI.

Program the Strata DK system for voice mail integration. See the Programming section
in the relevant Strata DK Installation & Maintenance Manual for details.
Shut Down the Strata DK

Turn off the main power switch to the Strata DK system.
Install the Stratagy DK
CAUTION!
See cautions above Step 1 on Page 6 before proceeding.

Locate the proper slot for the Stratagy DK

Ensure that the jumper is installed in the correct position on J4

Insert the card into the appropriate slot, and apply firm, even pressure to ensure proper
mating of connectors. Do not hit the board for proper seating. This may damage the
Stratagy DK components.
