    The DSS Port field corresponds to the “physical” port number of a Strata DK station. This field enables the Stratagy DK to monitor the Busy Lamp field of a DSS console port to determine if the station is busy before attempting to transfer.

    Installation You will be handling the Stratagy DK when it is most fragile - unpackaged and exposed. The Stratagy DK, if handled properly, will give long, reliable service. To insure that the unit is not damaged during installation or maintenance, follow these precautions.

    Retrieve Trace File Backup Utility The Stratagy Backup Utility is used to back up information from the Stratagy DK hard drive to the hard drive of the portable/desktop computer. Because of possible errors that can be induced through the telephone CAUTION! network, Toshiba advises that the Backup Utility be performed onsite.
