Power down.
Remove the printer covers (4.6.1) and
forms.
Remove the print unit (4.6.10).
Unhook cJip

Disconnect P3.
Remove four screws

(two each end),
then

assembly.
Replacement

Place clamp assembly in position. Place
P3 cable as shown and connect plug.
Start the four screws

but do not tighten.
Hold the assembly against the stop plates

and tighten the four screws

Install the clip

Do lower paper clamp service check
(4.6.44.2).
Do forms tension service check (4.6.45)

Loosen screw, and remove retainer wire

from both rods

Unhook spring and remove support pins

from clamp bar at both ends.
Remove clamp bar from rods

Replacement

Slide the clamp bar into the slot in
rods

Note:
Ensure that the clamp bar is installed
correctly (tension springs mesh with clamp
bar slots).
Insert the support pin

and hook the
spring on the pin.
Install retainer wire

Center as shown,
then tighten screw.
Install lower paper clamp assembly
(4.6.44.3) .

Replacement

Place coil on core as shown

Install coil retainer

Center as shown, then
