Remove the printer covers (4.6.1) steps
1 through 3.
Remove the cover
E1
over the capacitor
terminals and remove the slip-on leads.
Pull the capacitor out of the mounting
bracket.
Replacement
Replace in the reverse order of removal.
4.6.9 Motor and Paper Clamp Resistor

DANGER
After extended use, the resistors might become
extremely hot. Be sure the resistors are cool
before performing maintenance near resistor
panel.
Removal
1. Remove the printer covers (4.6.1) steps
1 through 3.
2. Raise the printer card gate.
3. Remove the air duct (remove two screws;
loosen one screw).
4. Unsolder the resistor leads.
5. Remove the resistor by removing the two
mounting screws.
Replacement
Replace in the reverse order of removal.
