Physically connecting the new server

Before you begin
You require a keyboard, a mouse, and a monitor. You also require several IP addresses and up to
four category 5e LAN cables. Ensure that you received the following items with your Avaya Scopia
Streaming and Recording server (Scopia
• Power cords
• Rack mount kit
Procedure
1. Connect the keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
2. Connect the LAN cable(s).

Scopia
SR comes with four 1 Gbit NICs which are bonded. Connect to at least one or all
four. They all respond with a single IP address.
