When you reset the speakerphone on your voice terminal, you hear a set of tones as the
speakerphone performs an acoustic test of the environment. When the tones stop, your
speakerphone has finished adjusting itself for optimal performance and is ready for use. For more
information about the Reset Speakerphone feature, see "Reset Speakerphone" in the section
Voice Feature Procedures later in this guide.
Note:
If you are using an 8410B voice terminal, you must press

When placing calls or using the voice features, you have the option of doing so by lifting the
handset or by pressing

simultaneously activates the built-in microphone so you can place and answer

calls without lifting the handset.
Abbreviated Dialing
Before you can use this feature, AD buttons must first be assigned by your system manager.
(These AD locations can be assigned to actual buttons, or you may access them with the
softkeys.)
If you hear the intercept tone while programming, start over from the beginning.
To program/reprogram
an AD button
to reset the speakerphone. If you are using an 8410B without the
