This appendix lists the standards compliance statements for the BSGX4e Business
Gateway device.

FCC Compliance (US)

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions:
This device may not cause harmful interference.
This device must accept any interference received, including interference that
may cause undesired operation.
This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This
device generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed
and used in accordance with the instruction, may cause harmful interference to
radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this device creates harmful interference to radio
or television reception, the user is encouraged to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:
Re-orient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
The BSGX4e is not hearing aid compatible.

FCC Telecom Statement

This device complies with Part 68 of the FCC rules and requirements adopted by the
American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA). On the bottom of this device is a
label that includes, among other information, a product identifier in the format
US:AAAEQ##TXXXX. If requested, this number must be provided to the telephone
company.
The Universal Service Order Codes (USOC) for this device (BSGX4e) are

The Facility Interface Codes (FIC) and the Service Order Codes (SOC) for this
