The QuickSetcontrolprovidesa
shortcutmethodfor entering
cookingtimeandthepowerlevel
on yourmicrowave o ven.QuickSet
codesare onlyusedfor recipes
whichneedlittleor no attention,
and whichrequireno changeof
powerlevelduringcooking. R ecipes
whichrequireadditional i ngredients,
attentionor changeof powerlevel
duringmicrowaving shouldbe
cookedin theusualmanner.Also,
recipeswithcookingtimeofless
thanoneminuteormore than99
minutescannotuseQuickSetcodes.
Tounderstandthe QuickSet
control,it is importantto know
whatthe numbersmeanandwhat
the sequenceis. The firstand
secondnumbers,if settinga 3-digit
code, indicatetheamountof time
youdesire;the lastcontrolentry
numberis alwaysthepowerlevel.
For example,125means12minutes

Whensettinga 2-digitQuickSet
controlentry,the firstis time,the
secondis powerlevel.Forexample,

foods.It'seasy,though,to make
QuickSetcodesformanyother
recipes.Justselectoneor two
digitsrepresenting thelengthof
cookingtimedesiredand a final
digitfor the powerlevelrequired.
Thecodesgivenin theguideare
forthe minimumtimeneeded;to
avoidovercooking, w hichcan dry
outfoodand makeit tastelessand
tough.If youfeelthatmore
cookingis needed,addadditional
timeby changingthe firstdigitof
the code.Youcannotadd seconds
to thecycletime—Quick Setcodes
are for wholeminutesonly.If your
recipecallsforpowerlevelchanges
or differentamountsof timeneeded
betweenadditionof ingredients,
youmayuseoneQuickSetcodefor
the firstpartofthe recipe,thenafter
completion,set anothercodefor
thatperiodof timeand powerlevel.
Remember thatQuickSetcodesare
formicrowaving b ytimeonly.If you
are microwaving bytemperature,
youmustuse theTempCookor
AutoRoastfunctions.
Whentheovencompletesthe
QuickSetcontrolprogram,it
automatically shutsoff. It willthen
display"End" and beeponcea
minuteuntilyoueitheropenthe
dooror touchtheCLEAIUOFF pad.
