CHANGING THE SAW BLADE

For your own safety, never connect the plug to a power source until all of the assembly steps have
been completed. The safety guard is attached to the saw for your protection. Should the safety guard
become damaged, do not use the saw until the damaged guard has been replaced.
WARNING: To prevent an accident or personal injury, always turn off the trigger switch and
disconnect from the power source before removing or installing the blade.
1.
If the saw is not in its locked position, lower the saw and push in the lock pin grip to lock the
saw in place.
2.
Remove the pivot bolt from the lower guard and slide the guard back. Remove the lower
screw on the guard (the one with the washer) and slide the guard mechanism up to expose
the cutting blade and locking shaft bolt.
3.
Lock the blade in place with the supplied wrench and remove the bolt.
4.
Replace the blade and re-attach the lock bolt, guard, and pivot arm.
NOTE: Ensure that the new blade does not come into contact with the saw base before using the saw.

OPERATION

1.
Secure the work piece in the vice by adjusting the lock knob to grip the work piece firmly.
2.
Grip the handle and squeeze the trigger to activate the saw.
3.
Once the blade has reached its full speed, slowly and carefully lower the blade onto the work
piece to being cutting.
4.
Once you have completed your cut, raise the saw out of the work piece and release the
trigger switch to stop the saw blade from turning.
