ASSEMBLY
For your own safety, never connect the tool to a power source
until all of the assembly steps are complete. The safety cover is
attached to the saw for your protection. If the safety cover becomes damaged, do not use the saw until
the damaged cover is replaced.
INSTALLING A NEW BLADE
WARNING! To prevent an accident or personal injury, always turn off the trigger switch and
disconnect the power source before removing or installing the blade.
1.
Place the saw on a flat surface.
2.
Secure the blade in place with the spanner, and use the
hex wrench to remove the blade clamp bolt (see Fig. 3).
3.
Remove the blade clamp bolt, outer flange, and washer.
4.
Fully raise the lower guard by lifting the lower guard lever,
remove the blade, and replace it with a new one.
5.
Make sure that the arrow on the blade is pointing in the
same direction as the arrow on the lower guard.
6.
Reinstall the outer flange and washer, and tighten
the blade clamp bolt.
7.
Turn the blade by hand to ensure that it turns freely and smoothly.
NOTE: The blade should not shake or wobble after it has been installed, and there should be no gaps
between the blade and the flange.
OPERATION
NOTE: Before using the tool, turn the blade by hand to ensure that it turns freely and smoothly.
TRIGGER SWITCH
1.
Connect the tool to the power supply.
2.
To start the tool, depress the safety lock button and squeeze the trigger switch.
3.
Release the trigger switch to turn off the tool.
