• Place your refrigerator in a su-
itable dry and damp free spot
which will not be exposed to
rain, frost or direct sunlight. Your
refrigerator should not be used
in the open air.
• There should not be any car-
pet, rug, etc., underneath your
refrigerator that may hinder air
circulation.
• In order to prevent contact with
the hot components (compres-
sor, condenser) or to prevent
holding of these components
and the fire risk, back of the
appliance must face towards
the wall if suitable.
• It should be at least 50cm away
from heat sources such as coo-
kers, ovens, wing radiators and
stoves and at least 5 cm away
from electrical ovens.

Ventilation of the Appliance

• WARNING: In order to increa-
se the cooling efficiency and to
save energy, the heat should be
well distributed. For that purpo-
se, the appliance must be well
ventilated around. For that re-
ason, sufficient distances must
be left around the appliance.
• Recommendation: There sho-
uld be at least 75 mm open
space between the wall and
the backside, 100 mm on top,
100 between the wall and the
sides and a sufficient open
space which allow doors to
wide open145°. Below figure
illustrates these distances.
