• Always keep this user manual
with your appliance. Provide
this user manual with the appli-
ance if you lend your appliance.
• In order to reduce the risk of
burning, electric shock, fire or
injury, read the user manual
carefully before using your
appliance and follow the ins-
tructions about the operation,
troubleshooting and cleaning
of your appliance.
• Children 8 years or older and
individuals who suffer from
physical, auditory or mental
impairment or have a lack of
experience and knowledge can
only use this appliance under
supervision and only after they
receive necessary instructions
on safe use of the appliance
and understand the potential
dangers involved.
• Children must not play with the
appliance. Do not allow child-
ren hang down from the door.
• Cleaning and user-maintenance
procedures should not be per-
formed by unsupervised child-
ren.
• When you want to dispose the
appliance, remove its plug from
the power outlet; and in order
to prevent children from recei-
ving electric shock and locking
themselves inside the applian-
ce, cut the power connection
cable as closest as possible to
the appliance and disassemble
the door.
• Whenever an older model
with a spring door or cover
lock (latch) is to be replaced
with this appliance, which is
equipped with magnetic door
seals, ensure that the spring
lock is not in use prior to the
disposal of the older appliance.
This precaution will prevent the
appliance's becoming a death
trap for children.
• WARNING: Keep the venti-
lation holes on the cover and
body of the appliance open.
• WARNING: Do not use mec-
hanic tools or other artificial
methods to accelerate defros-
ting.
• WARNING: Unless sugges-
ted by the manufacturer, do not
use electrical devices in parts
of the appliance where foods
