Intended use

The Schaerer Coffee Vito has been designed to dispense coffee beverages, milk beverages
and/or powdered beverages (toppings & chocolate) in different versions – in cups or coffee-
pots. Additionally, the unit can supply steam for heating up milk and/or hot water.
It is designed for industrial and commercial use. It can be used in businesses, offices, restau-
rants, hotels and similar establishments. It can also be used in domestic situations. The ma-
chine must be cleaned and cared for by specially trained personnel. The machine may be
placed in self-service areas if attended to by trained personnel.
Use of this equipment is subject to the "General Terms and Conditions" of Schaerer AG and
these operating instructions. In legal terms, any other use is not an intended use. The manu-
facturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from unintended use.
Improper handling of the coffee machine can result in damage.
Schaerer Coffee Vito must not be used for heating and dispensing any liquids other
than coffee, hot water (beverages, cleaning) or milk (cooled, pasteurised, homoge-
nised, UHT).

Beverage types and output

Depending on the machine model and options, the following beverages can be prepared (bev-
erage output is specified in cups per hour):
Espresso 50-60 ml
Coffee 120 ml
Cappuccino (180) ml
Latte macchiato 200 ml
Hot milk 180 ml
Chociatto (cup at rate of 180 ml)
Hot chocolate (cup at rate of 180 ml)
Hot water
Additionally available beverages:

• Caffeine-free beverages
