    Introduction Introduction Welcome This coffee machine is part of the next generation of fully automatic coffee machines. Our com- pany's core competence as well as decades of experience flowed into designing this equip- ment. These operating instructions provide information about the product, its operation and how to clean the coffee machine.

    General safety notes Maximum safety is one of the most important features of Schaerer AG products. The effective- ness of the safety equipment can only be ensured if the chapter containing precautions to avoid injury and danger to health are adhered to.

Please adhere to the following points: • Work on electrical systems may only be performed by skilled elec- tricians. • The machine must be connected to a fused electrical circuit (we rec- ommend routing the connection through an earth leakage circuit breaker).

    • Do not operate the device if the water supply is blocked. Otherwise, the boilers will not be refilled and the pump will run dry. • Schaerer AG recommends installing a water stop valve (provided by the customer) in the water connection to prevent water damage in case of hose breakage.

    Cleaning Option 4: Mandatory cleaning request The cleaning request appears at the set time. The mandatory cleaning is activated after a spe- cific time if the scheduled cleaning is not performed despite the instruction on the display and a beverage has been supplied since the last cleaning. Once the mandatory cleaning is active, beverage dispensing is blocked or the cleaning program is started and can only be exited again by completing the cleaning.

    Schaerer AG service partner, a representative thereof, or other authorised persons. Schaerer AG must be notified in writing of any defects with 30 days. For hidden defects, this period is extended to 12 months from the date of installation (work report, handover report), but no longer than 18 months after the product leaves the factory in Zuchwil.
