This section describes system requirements for the SiS 5598 VGA
Driver and how to install the drivers.
1. The hardware system must contain a 5598 chipset.
2. A mouse is optional.
3. Set the VGA Shared Memory Size in the BIOS CHIPSET Features
Setup. Please refer to Chapter 3 for more information on how to set
the VGA Shared Memory Size in the BIOS CHIPSET FEATURES
SETUP section.
1. Click on the "Start" button and select "Control Panel" from the
Settings menu.
2. Double-click on the Display icon.
3. Select the Settings tab in the Display Properties window.
4. Click on the "Change Display Type" or the "Advanced Properties"
button.
5. Click on "Change..." in the Adapter tab.
6. Click on "Have Disk..."
7. Place the Supporting CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
8. When the Install from Disk dialog box appears, type the directory
storing the drivers and click "OK" or click the "Browse..." button to
manually locate the drivers.
The directory is "cd-rom: \CD-ROM\PCM-5892\Driver\vga
driver\win95" and the file is called "SiS5597.INF"
"cd-rom:" : the drive letter of you CD-ROM drive
