TROUBLESHOOTING

Check the following before requesting repair.
If a trouble cannot be corrected even after checking and trying remedy, contact your dealer.

■ Matrix Switcher WJ-SX650 Series

Problem
Power is not turned on.
OPERATE indicator is blink-
ing.
Cannot control a system con-
troller.
Cannot control a monitor.
Check item and remedy
• Check if the power plug is properly connected to the AC out-
let.
• Check if the power cord is properly inserted into the AC inlet
socket of this unit.
• The cooling fan has a trouble or is deteriorating. That may
cause troubles of the unit. Consult the dealer for replace-
ment.
• Check the connections between the system controller and
the unit.
• Check the specifications of modular cable. When using a
modular cable not supplied to the system controller, apply the
6-conductor type.
• Check if the operation mode and controller numbers are
properly set.
• Check the DATA port settings (TMNL or PSD).
• Check the connection between the monitor and the unit.
• Check the level settings or monitor access setting.
• Check the LCD (or LED) display or indicators of system con-
troller. When "Busy (or BUSY)" is blinking (or lighting), moni-
tor control is not available.
