Displaying the status of the power supplies

You can display the status of the power supplies by entering the show chassis
command at any level of the CLI. The display shows whether a power supply is
installed in the specified power supply slot and the status of the power supply,
which can be one of the following:
v OK - The power supply is functioning properly and supplying power to the
v Failed - The power supply is not functioning and is not supplying power to the

The power supply is
not receiving power
from an AC power
source. You can do
the following:
Make sure that the
power supply cord
is connected
securely to the wall
outlet and the
power supply.
Make sure that the
wall outlet is rated
for 115/120V and
20A. If it is not,
obtain a cable that
is compatibly rated
for the outlet.
Make sure that the
wall outlet has
power.
The power supply is
not supplying DC
output power to the
chassis.
If this occurs and
the AC OK LED is
Green, then there is
a problem with the
power supply and it
must be replaced.
There is an alarm
present and the
power supply is
malfunctioning.
Verify the AC input
or DC output
voltages.
