To change the present tread to the desired tread,
all of the arrow mark would show the direction of
rotation. Furthermore, the tire mark on the ground
should be in "V" shape.
Remove rim bolts, slide in peripheral direction to
move to outside or inside of disk and set.
Change the left with the right tire, and set to the
inside or outside of the disk.
Change the direction of the disk.
I M P O RTANT :
• Always attach tires as shown in the above
d r a w i n g s .
• If not attached as illustated, transmission parts
may be damaged.
• After charging the wheel, nuts should be
torqued to 145~165 ft-lbs(196~226 Nm, 20~23
k g . m ) .
6.3 Ti r e s
Though the tire pressure is factory-set to the
prescribed level, it naturally drops slowly in the
course of time. Thus, check it everyday and inflate
as necessary.
Check and retighten as insrtucted on page 20

• Do not use tires larger than

• Do not attempt to mount a tire. This should
be done by a qualified person with the
proper equipmemt.
Qualified persons with the proper tire
mounting equipment should recognize the
following warning
WARNING
• Never exceed 241 kPa(35psi) when attempting
to seat a bead. If beads have not been seated
by the time the pressure reaches 241
kPa(35psi), deflate the assembly, reposition the
tire on the rim, relubricate and reinflate. After
seating the bead, adjust inflation pressure as
recommended in the inflation pressure chart.
