Whenever the configuration of the SpeedTouch™610 has been altered in any way, with
the intention to keep this configuration, you should save it.
You can save the configuration either by clicking Save All in the Topics menu of the
SpeedTouch™610 web pages or by executing saveall from the CLI prompt.
As a result a user.ini text file is created on the SpeedTouch™610 '/dl' subdirectory,
holding all CLI commands needed to reproduce the exact same configuration as present
at the moment it was saved.
For your convenience you can make backup files of the SpeedTouch™610 configuration.
Backing up saved SpeedTouch™610 configurations can be done via the Speed-
Touch™610 web pages, using the SpeedTouch™Setup wizard, or via FTP.
The SpeedTouch™610 permanent storage allows you to store multiple configuration
files. Via the CLI you are able to apply one of these whenever needed, without the need
of uploading a configuration file each time you want to switch to a new configuration.
The items discussed in this chapter are also valid via SpeedTouch™610's remote
management capabilities.
For more information, see the application note "SpeedTouch™610
ment".
