4.2 Applying for a Software Module Activation

Prerequisites:
• A configured and connected SpeedTouch™610 Business DSL router
•
Internet access (via the SpeedTouch™610).
You can apply for a software activation key for a particular SpeedTouch™610 software
module at your network administrator, Internet Service Provider (ISP), or the reseller
or distributor of your SpeedTouch™610 device.
Per software module you intend to activate, the ISP should provide you with:
• A user name
•
An accompanying password.
This allows you to request the software activation key for the particular Speed-
Touch™610 software module at the SpeedTouch™ Software Activation Key server.
The general procedure to enable a SpeedTouch™610 software module via a software
activation key is described below:
Browse to the SpeedTouch™610 web pages.

Open the Add-On page.
