2.3 Preliminary Checks

Introduction
Before you install the controller, remove the chassis and make any preliminary checks
necessary that are listed in Table 2-2. Figure 2-2 shows the locations for jumper
placements.

Note: Solid State and Open Collector must have jumper set to N.O. (Normally Open).

Table 2-2 Preliminary Checks
Check the internal jumper for INPUT 1 to make sure it
is set for the correct input type. The jumper is located at
position S101 on the printed wiring board. Figure 2-2
shows the location of the jumper and position
selections.
Check the internal jumper (W101) for CONTROL. The
relay is shipped as N.O. (Normally Open). Figure 2-2
shows the location of the jumper and position
selections.

The controller has been shipped with ALARM relays
configured for N.C. (Normally Closed). If you want to
change to N.O. refer to Figure 2-2, Jumper positions
W201 and W202:
W201 is the ALARM RELAY 1 jumper.
W202 is the jumper for ALARM RELAY 2.
