6.4.12 How to decrease the length of probes

INFORMATION!

Do not change the length of coaxial, Ø8 mm / 0.3
damage the probe.
How to decrease the length of single rod probes
• Cut the rod to the correct length.
• Measure the length of the rod from the flange facing.
• Go to Supervisor > Advanced Setup > Installation Setup > Probe Length Supervisor > Advanced Setup > Installation Setup > Probe Length.

• Type in the new value. Press ^.
• Press > and
• Select Save Save and press ^. Save Save

If you cannot measure the length of the probe, you can use Quick Setup > Setup Mode > Auto

How to decrease the length of cable probes
• Cut the cable to the correct length.
• Attach the cable to the counterweight. Tighten the socket set screws.
Use a 3 mm Allen wrench.

• Loosen the socket set screws that hold the counterweight.
Use a 3 mm Allen wrench.

• Remove the counterweight.
• Measure the length of the cable from the flange facing to the bottom of the counterweight.
Add the length of the counterweight to get the total probe length. Subtract the length of the

cable engaged in the counterweight. Refer to the diagram after this procedure.
• Go to Supervisor > Advanced Setup > Installation Setup > Probe Length Supervisor > Advanced Setup > Installation Setup > Probe Length.
