Cable Specifications and Requirements
The AT-201/202 (ST/SC) Micro switch uses three types of cabling:
UTP cable (RJ45 connector) for both 10Base-T and 100Base-TX
STP cable (RJ45 connector) for both 10Base-T/100Base-TX
Fiber optics cable (ST/SC connector) for 100Base-FX
Table 4 provides an overview of IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u cabling specifications
for 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 100Base-FX network configurations using
twisted-pair cable and fiber optics.
