Work Area
• Keep the work area clean and well lit.
• Do not operate a power tool in an explosive atmo-
spheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks
that may ignite dust or fumes.
• Keep bystanders, children, and visitors away from
the work area while operating a power tool. Distrac-
tions can cause the operator to lose control.

Personal Safety

locked or off position before inserting the battery pack.
Carrying a tool with a finger on the switch or inserting the
battery pack into a tool with the switch in the on position
invites accidents.
