Main Power
Main power to the serverboard is supplied through the system backplane (BPN-
SAS3-217HQ), which receives power directly from the power supply. One hard drive
backplane in each node (BPN-ADP-3108L-H6IRP) plugs into system backplane and
the JF1 connector on the serverboard
IPMI LAN Port
An IPMI LAN port, located next to the VGA port on the rear I/O panel, provides
KVM support for an IPMI 2.0 interface. This LAN port is supported by the ASpeed
AST2400 Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) and accepts an RJ45 type
cable.
Note: Please refer to the LED Indicator Section for LAN LED information.
Universal Serial Bus (USB)
Two USB 3.0 ports (USB 0/1) are
located on the rear I/O panel. See the
table on the right for pin definitions.
DOM Power Connector
A power connector for SATA DOM
(Disk On Module) devices is located
at JSD1. Connect an appropriate cable
here to provide power for your SATA
DOM devices.

Video Port
A Video (VGA) port is located on the rear I/O panel. The VGA port is supported by
the ASpeed BMC and is used to provide video and CRT display.
COM Port Header
A COM port header is located on the serverboard for a serial connection.
Unit Identifier Switch
Two Unit Identifier (UID) switches and
two UID LED indicators are provided on
the system. The rear UID switch (SW1) is
located on the rear I/O panel and the rear
LED Indicator is located at UID_LED1 on
the serverboard. The front UID switch
and the front UID LED are located on
the front side of the chassis.
When the front UID switch or the rear
UID switch is pressed, both UID LED
Indicators will be turned on. Press the
UID switch again to turn off the UID
LED. UID Indication provides easy
identification of a system unit that may
be in need of service. See the tables on
the right for pin definitions.
TPM Header/Port 80
A Trusted Platform Module/Port 80
header is located at JTPM1 to provide
TPM support and Port 80 connection.
Use this header to enhance system
performance and data security. See the
table on the right for pin definitions.
