Setting Up and Engaging Tone

Assigning Tone to Output Busses

To assign tone to an output bus, press the Bus key and go to the ANALOG ASSGN MATRIX to select which output bus
will receive tone when tone is engaged.
NOTE: Only the busses with tone routed to it will output the slate tone when the Visual Timecode Slate tone is
activated

Assigning Tone to Card Tracks

To assign tone to card tracks, press the Bus key and go to the TONE ENABLE MATRIX to select which card tracks will
receive tone when tone is engaged.

Engaging Tone

To toggle tone generation On/Off, press and hold the SETUP key for approximately one second.
Tone level and frequency can be adjusted in the ENG SETUP menu.

1, 2 and 3 will output Tone
when Tone is engaged.
Shows that Card
Tracks 1 and 2 will
record Tone when
Tone is engaged.
Adjusts Tone Frequency
Adjusts Tone Level
