5.4

I/O BOARD (OPTIONAL)

This area is used to configure the optional GPIO board ref. 1093/105 for managing input sensors and output relays. This
configuration area can only be accessed if the GPIO board is actually installed in the VPR.
5.4.1

MANUAL OUTPUT CONTROL

Click on "Manual output control" to manually control the output relays (useful for system tests and inspections in the
event of faults). The following will appear:
IMPORTANT NOTE
The number of available outputs depends on the configuration shown in the following chapter.
Click on the button corresponding to the output to be controlled to switch the relay on and off. Click on "CLOSE" to shut
down manual relay control.
5.4.2

GPIO DIP SWITCH CONFIGURATION

The optional GPIO USB board has 8 sensor inputs and 8 configurable relay outputs. Use the dip switch next to the 25 pin
connector on the board to configure the board and switch the relay outputs into additional sensor inputs. In this way, you
can have up to 16 sensor inputs and 0 relay outputs. Refer to chapter 8.2 in this manual for dip switch configuration.
After configuring the inputs and outputs of the board, select "DIP SWITCH SETTINGS" to edit the following configuration
parameters:
