Equipment Supplied
The equipment supplied includes the
components listed below:
– Balance with weighing pan mounted
in place
– Plug-in AC adapter
– Operating instructions
Installation Instructions
CGB balances are designed to provide
reliable weighing results under normal
ambient conditions. When choosing a
location to set up your balance, observe
the following so that you will be able to
work with added speed and accuracy:
– Set up the balance on a stable, even
surface
– Avoid placing the balance next
to a heater or exposing the balance
to direct sunlight
– Protect the balance from direct drafts that
come from open windows or doors
– Avoid exposing the balance to strong
vibration during weighing
– Protect the balance from aggressive
chemical vapors
– Avoid exposing the balance to extreme
moisture
Conditioning the Balance:
Moisture in the air can condense on
the surfaces of a cold balance whenever
it is brought into a substantially warmer
place. Therefore, condition a cold
balance for approx. 2 hours at room
temperature, leaving it unplugged from
AC power. Afterwards, keep the
balance continuously connected to
AC power.
