Possible Cause (Scanner)
•
Defective image sensor element(s).
Action:
•
Replace the image sensor.
Possible Cause (Printer)
•
The laser optic components are dirty.
•
The hot roller stripper scrapes off toner from the print paper.
Action:
•
Clean the laser optic components.
•
Check the hot roller stripper mechanism. Clean the strippers and re-
place them if they are damaged.
