Troubleshooting
Washer vibrates, shakes or
makes too much noise.
Strange noise in the drain
pump.
Clanking noise in the
drum.
Water fill temperature is
incorrect.
Owner's Guide & Installation Instructions
Feet might require adjustment.
Shipping bolts might not have been
removed.
There may be a small amount of
laundry in the drum.
The drum may be overloaded or the
clothes may be distributed unevenly.
The appliance might be touching a
solid surface.
This is not a problem. Lapping
sound is normal at the end of the
drain operation.
Metal objects such as coins, pins
may be in the drum.
Water inlet hoses or valves may be
clogged.
There may be a long distance
between the water heater and
washer.
There may be a problem with water
heater.
Adjust the washer feet (See "Levelling
the Washer").
Remove the shipping bolts (See
"Removing Transport/Shipping Bolts").
Add more laundry to the drum for even
load distribution next time you operate
the washer.
Reduce the amount of laundry in the
drum or balance the load by hand next
time you operate the washer.
Ensure that nothing touches the washer.
It is not harmful to your washer.
Stop the program cycle (See "Cancelling
a Program") ,check the drum for any
foreign objects.
Disconnect inlet hoses from the valves.
Clean inlet strainers and valve filters of
any debris.
Run the hot water faucets in the
bathroom or kitchen (whichever is close
to the location of your washer) for a
short time to purge the hot water line.
Be sure that your water heater is
delivering hot water min 120F (49C) at
the faucet.
