Troubleshooting
Washer did not spin.
Washing performance is
poor: Laundry turns gray/
yellow
Owner's Guide & Installation Instructions
There may be an imbalance of load
in the drum. Therefore, the program
cycle might have been completed
without spinning.
Unbalance detection due to 1-2
small items in the drum (uneven
load distribution)
Drain hose may be folded.
"No spin" setting may be adjusted.
Drain pump filter or drain itself may
be clogged.
Using insufficient amount of
detergent.
Washing at low temperatures for a
long time
Using insufficient amount of
detergent for hard water (soil can
stick to the laundry)
Using excessive amount of
detergent (detergent can stick to the
laundry).
Not using HE detergent
Dyeing problem occurs.
Hot water inlet temperature is not
high enough.
A higher temperature might have
been selected.
The automatic spin correction system
might have been activated due to the
unbalanced distribution of the laundry
in the drum. No spinning is performed
when the laundry is not evenly
distributed in the drum to prevent any
damage to the appliance and to its
environment.
The laundry in the drum may be tangled
up too much. Laundry should be
rearranged and re-spun.
Add more laundry (e.g. a few additional
towels) to the drum and start a "Spin"
or "Spin&Drain" cycle.
Check the drain hose and straighten if
necessary.
See "Spin Speed Selection".
Clean the drain pump filter (See "User
maintenance instructions" ). If the
house drain pipes are clogged, call a
plumber for assistance.
Use the recommended amount of
HE detergent appropriate for water
hardness and soil level of laundry.
Select the proper temperature for the
laundry to be washed (See "Laundry
Tips" & "Program Cycle Selection").
If the water hardness is high, using an
insufficient amount of detergent can
cause laundry to turn gray over time.
It is difficult to eliminate such grayness
once it occurs.
Use HE detergent.
Sort the wash load by color (See
"Laundry Tips").
Set your water heater for delivering
120-140F (48-60 C) hot water.
Select the proper program cycle and
temperature according to the type and
soiling degree of the laundry.
