Topology

The Topology window will be used to configure and manage the Switch within the SIM group and requires Java script to
function properly on your computer.
The Java Runtime Environment on your server should initiate and lead you to the topology window, as seen below.
The Tree View window holds the following information under the Data tab:
Parameter
Device Name
Local Port
Speed
Remote Port
MAC Address
Model Name

Description
This field will display the Device Name of the switches in the SIM group configured
by the user. If no device is configured by the name, it will be given the name default
and tagged with the last six digits of the MAC Address to identify it.
Displays the number of the physical port on the CS that the MS or CaS is
connected to. The CS will have no entry in this field.
Displays the connection speed between the CS and the MS or CaS.
Displays the number of the physical port on the MS or CaS that the CS is
connected to. The CS will have no entry in this field.
Displays the MAC Address of the corresponding Switch.
Displays the full Model Name of the corresponding Switch.
