Storing and Retrieving the Settings
of Shooting Conditions (LOAD/
SAVE SETTING)
The setting items for shooting conditions on the Menu
display are preceded by a

for shooting under the same conditions.
Storing the settings of shooting
conditions

Display the Menu display.
For details, see "Displaying the Menu Display in
CAMERA Mode" on page 14.

Set the Shooting Conditions.
For details on setting, refer to the Operating
Instructions (Basic Operations).

Press v or V of the control button to select LOAD/
SAVE SETTING, then press ENTER of the control
button.

Press v of the control button to select SAVE
SETTING.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The shooting conditions set in Step 2 are stored,
and the display returns to Menu.
Retrieving the stored shooting
conditions

Display the Menu display.
For details, see "Displaying the Menu Display in
CAMERA Mode" on page 14.

Press v or V of the control button to select LOAD/
SAVE SETTING, then press ENTER of the control
button.

Press v of the control button to select LOAD
SETTING.
The display returns to Menu, and retrieved shooting
conditions are displayed.

Storing Image Data (MEMORY
FORMAT)
If the number of recordable pictures of the camera
decreases after recording many times, formatting the
memory area for storing image data may recover the
recording capacity of the camera. Format the memory
area from the Setup display of the Menu function in the
following manner:
Note
When the memory area for storing image data is
formatted, even protected image data are erased. Before
initiating formatting, store any necessary image data on
the hard disk of a computer, etc.

Display the Setup display.
For details, see "Displaying the Setup Display" on
page 14.

Press v or V of the control button to select
MEMORY FORMAT.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Memory Format display appears, and a
warning "CAUTION!!!ALL IMAGES WILL BE
DELETED." will be displayed.

Press v of the control button to select START.

Press ENTER of the control button.
Formatting begins. All image data will be deleted.
If the PLAY/CAMERA switch is set to PLAY,
"NO FILE" will be displayed on the LCD.
To cancel formatting
In Step 4 above, select CANCEL instead of OK, then
press ENTER of the control button.
