Setting the Shooting Conditions

The shooting conditions are set at the factory so that you
can take pictures automatically. If necessary, you can set
the conditions manually.

Selecting the exposure control mode
(Exposure Mode)
Three exposure control modes are available:
PROGRAM AUTO, APERTURE PRIORITY, and
MANUAL EXPOSURE.

The shooting conditions that can be controlled manually
depend on the exposure control mode. The table below
shows the available shooting conditions for each
exposure control mode.

Select PROGRAM AUTO, APERTURE
PRIORITY, or MANUAL EXPOSURE by pressing
v or V of the control button.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Exposure Mode display appears.

Select PROGRAM AUTO, APERTURE
PRIORITY, or MANUAL EXPOSURE by pressing
v or V of the control button.
PROGRAM AUTO: The aperture and shutter
speed are adjusted automatically.
APERTURE PRIORITY: The aperture is
adjusted manually, while the shutter speed is
adjusted automatically.
MANUAL EXPOSURE: The aperture and shutter
speed are adjusted manually.

Press ENTER of the control button.
The Menu display is retrieved.
